McGriff Memorial Scholarship Gala

I'm honored I have been asked to share poetry for this beautiful scholarhsip gala in loving memory of Anthony McGriff.

Anthony McGriff lost his life to gun violence in Newark, NJ in April of this year. In the midst of grieving, Anthony's family has decided to begin a scholarship fund for young folks impacted by gun violence. This gala is just one of the many in an effort to heal, rebuild, and empower community.
